Since 2022, Norman has also served as an associate judge on the Panel of the Belgian Competition Authority, which gives him experience in deliberations.

His career has unfolded between the courtroom and the lecture hall. He served as a research assistant for more than ten years at the Faculty of Law of the University of Liège, then as an associate professor. He trains—or has trained—officials from the French Ministry of the Economy as well as future attorneys at the Liège-Huy Bar School.
